The cosmetics system in Lotro is one of my absolute favorite things in the game, I feel compelled to make a new outfit for each zone as I travel through them. It has made leveling and discovering more about each land so much fun! I started cataloguing my attempts a while ago, and this is what has resulted:

"If you type '/ui' in-game, you'll get the following message:
usage /ui [layout [<save|load> [<filename>]]]What this means is, you really have two options. Saving a layout and loading a layout.
Saving a UI layout saves your position of UI elements as well as any of your UI settings (chat colors, combat and social options, etc).
So to save you ui, type the following:
/ui layout save Filenameand hit enter. Then you can log on another character (even if it's on a different server) and you type this:
/ui layout load Filenameand hit enter again. Your layout should now be the same as your other character!"
So! After I logged onto my main, typed /ui layout save Diamint
every time I make an alt or enter session play, all I have to do is type /ui layout load Diamint and TADA!!!!
No more moving vital displays, or re-sizing your mini-map, no more wondering which user channel unite is on, or changing the text colors! It's all done for you, nice and easy.
The things I learn from playing as a chicken!
